“Life is not about how you survive the storm, it is about how you dance in the rain.”

Women have an important role in society and are special in every person’s life. They give life, they love, they support, they are the warm fire of their family. 

Now I can analyse and realise what women contributed to make me who I am today. The most important and first contribution was made by my mom. She always believed in me, told me that I am special, beautiful, prudent and I can overcome any difficulties. When I was small I didn’t understand how important those words were, only now I understand that. She is a very talented person, she knows to do a lot of things: sew, embroider, knit, do hair, do haircuts, cook various complex dishes, dairy products, even cook and bake bread in a wood-fired oven. Everything she does, she does with the highest quality. My mother’s Achille’s heel is her lack of courage, she is always afraid to try something new. 

This courage and also a strong power is something I found in my granny (mother of my mother). She has had a difficult life but from all the situations she has stayed strong and brave. She grew up in a family with 8 children, but their parents cared for all of them so that they found happiness. My grandmother has only two daughters. She helped her girls and after that her grandchildren all her life. She always believed that I will have a special destiny because I finished the school and the university with very good marks. I am very grateful to her for all the support she gave me.

After finishing my studies at university it was hard for me to find a good job. Here appeared an other important woman in my life: my boss who saw in me the qualities for a work that I didn’t ever dream. I worked with her for six wonderful years and learned from her a lot of useful things not only for work but for different situations that can happen in life. She said “Life is not about how you survive the storm, it is about how you dance in the rain.” It means we have to govern our life in different situations because all depends on us and on our opinions how to act. 

 I have been living in UK for only few months and I have already met many strong women that are very open, some of them are volunteering some are teaching English, all of them are working a lot and I want to take example from them and also to be useful here.
